
The Puggle is a very popular designer breed that is recognized and registered by the International Designer Canine Registry. This designer breed originated in the United States. The Puggle was created by combining the foundation breeds of the Pug and the Beagle.

As with all dogs the size can and will vary from individual to individual but one an expect the average size of a Puggle to be approximately: 10-15 inches tall and an average weight of 15-20 pounds.

A Puggle typically will have a coat that is short and smooth. Coat colors for the Puggle
may vary and tend to include black and tan. Most Puggles will have a patch of white on their chest. The most common coat color for the Puggle is tan with black markings but Puggles come in a variety of colors including black.

The coat of this designer breed requires occasional brushing and should be bathed when necessary. The Puggle is an average shedder. The wrinkles or creases on the face or muzzle of the Puggle should be checked frequently and cleaned as needed.

A Puggle is a sociable, calm and easy-going very popular designer breed. Most Puggles are good with children and other dogs and are known to be social, playful, sweet and intelligent.

The Puggle gets along well with children, other dogs and household pets. It may show signs of jealousy, however, if it feel ignored by it's owner.

Puggles are an intelligent breed. Individuals can be slightly stubborn at times. Consistent early training is usually a good idea for the Puggle.
The Puggle does well in an apartment and is a great family dog and an excellent choice for a family with children. This popular designer breed is typically energetic and lively and enjoys daily play time and walks. Some sort of daily exercise is recommended.
