 The Frenchie Pug is a designer breed that is created by combining the foundation breeds of the French Bulldog and the Pug.   This hybrid breed is sometimes referred to as a Frug.

The Frenchie Pug is a designer breed that is said to have its origin in the United States. 
This designer breed recognized and registered by the International Designer Canine Registry.

 


As with many purebred dogs, the size of some designer dog breeds can vary from individual to individual.

The average size of a Frenchie Pug can be expected to be approximately: Height 10 to 15 inches and an average weight of 15 to 25 pounds.

 


The Frenchie Pug has a short smooth coat that requires little attention.

Frenchie Pugs are a designer breed that can come in a variety of colors such as different shades of brindles, black, tan, brown, white , etc. and various combinations of those colors. 

Rare and unusual colors such as chocolate and blue can occur on rare occasions.  

 


The coat of this designer breed requires minimum care.  Just occasional bathing when necessary.

 


Frenchie Pugs are lively and playful by nature.  Frenchie Pug puppies typically have a loving and playful personality.

This designer breed tends to be very devoted to its family members and enjoys play time and interacting with children.  

The Frenchie Pug is an intelligent and curious dog that thrives on human companionship and is a great family dog.  Frenchie Pugs do well with the elderly and are happy living in an apartment lifestyle.



The Frenchie Pug is affectionate and sweet in nature with their family and enjoy rough play and interaction with their family members. 

This designer breed can be protective of its family members and dominate with other dogs.  As with all dogs proper socialization is needed and important to ensure a well rounded disposition and temperament.  



Frenchie Pug puppies are intelligent dogs and respond well to training.   

Firmness and consistency are the key to successful training this designer breed. 
 


The Frenchie Pug is enjoys being part of the family and is happiest when they are interacting with their family and loved ones.

This designer breed is an excellent  companion dog that readily adapts to its family's lifestyle and is well suited for apartment living.

This designer breed enjoys daily walks and play time.  Daily exercise is recommended.
